| PrintReader - Changing the PrintReader Sensitivity | ||||||

| PrintReader Sensitivity can be changed by going into the Managers Menu (press 3 then enter the password) and selecting option "6" and follow the instructions on the clock to configure. The device is already at the lowest level by default so it will be less strict in the prints it accepts which could result in false positives (miss assigned punches). But this rarely happens. Raising the default level will make the reader more strict with the prints it will accept causing less false positives. This is almost certain to increase the number of rejections for people trying to scan their print to clock in/out causing delays at the clock. For all intents and purposes it is suggested to not adjust the default Sensitivity setting. | |
