Can we use the Bulk Import Feature to update certain fields in Employee Setup?
Answer
This is not possible on a TimeWorks (Classic) account type. The Bulk Import feature found in 'Accountant Menu > Bulk Import' is only used to create new employee's for a client. If you try to do this what will happen is you will create a duplicate of an employee that already has information in Employee Setup not update his/her data.

Any updates to employee information in Employee Setup must be done in Employee Setup.

If you have accidentally created duplicate information and need to delete it be very careful to delete the correct data as if the original is deleted you will also lose all punch history/data assigned to that profile.


However, if the account type is TimeWorks Plus then you can definitely update the employee profiles. Please refer to this article, TimeWorks Plus: "Bulk Import - Employees" feature, for information and instructions.
