Answer If there is a beta version available, 7472 requests the download of the beta version instead of the regular release. We sometimes release new features as a beta version for a short while. This lets us have willing people do real-world testing to make sure there are no unforeseen problems. After a while, if the new version works without any problems, we provide it as the regular release. If there is no beta version available, then 7472 will simply provide the latest release.
