How do our time clocks know what time it is? How can we figure out if it is running on the correct time?

Answer
When a clock connects to our timekeeping servers to transmit punches (at least once per day), the clock's "time" will be synced with the server's time. Our timekeeping servers are set to the atomic clock located in Ft. Collins, Colorado. The timekeeping servers attempt to update their time every few hours so it is as precise as possible.

Note: Time zones can be changed for each individual clock, by going to Accountant Menu > Time Zones. From here you can offset the clock's time in relation to the client's default time zone.

To check the clock's time against the official US time, you can go to: http://www.time.gov/ and select your time zone.

You can also download an application to sync also with NIST Internet Time Service using this:
