Can I still have employees swipe their card when clocking in, even if they use a print reader?
Answer
Yes. One of the only reasons someone may use a card or a PIN instead of their print is because they cannot get a good read from their finger print.

To use a swipe card just be sure that the card number has been saved in one of the card number fields of the employee set up.

To use just a PIN, be sure that this number is saved in one of the card number fields of the employee set up. As long as this PIN is NOT associated to a print, they will be able to key this in at the time of clock in.

** NOTE: To use a PIN only be sure that you have changed the ‘ManualClock’ option in the miscellaneous setting to ‘Any number up to 9 digits allowed’. Miscellaneous settings can be found from the accountant menu.
