TimeClock - Change or Remove the dialing prefix
If a client changes phone providers or their current service and need a dial prefix to dial out on the line like "9" the below steps should allow you to assist in adding the prefix:

1. Go up to the clock and press "FUNC", then the 1 key.
2. It will prompt for a password. Enter in 123662 then press the Enter key.
3. It will then ask for the prefix, simply enter in the prefix number needed then press the Enter key. If you need to remove the prefix just press Enter without putting any number in at the prompt.
4. Once done test it by pressing and see if the prefix is or is not there.

If the above does not work, you can attempt to re-entering the phone number from scratch using the below steps:

1. Go up to the clock and press 'Function', then the '3' key
2. It will prompt for an Auth Code. Enter in '64496' then press the Enter key.
3. It will then ask for the Phone Number. Enter 18882289550.

NOTE: If you need to dial a 9 to get out, then Dial: 9-18882289550. The 'dash' will program a 2-second pause during dialing, which ensures the clock waits for a second dial tone before continuing to dial. To get the 'dash', simply hit the zero (0) key and then the 'Alpha' key, and the 0 will turn into a 'dash' on the clock's screen.

If neither of the steps above work to add or remove a prefix you will need to re-program the clock as an older firmware on the clock may be preventing the change.

Note: Re-Programming the clock will delete any punches currently on the clock. If punches on the clock need to retrieved before re-programming you have two options:

1. Either move the clock to a line that does not require the added prefix
2. Or extract the punches using a Data Extraction Kit (TimeClock - Can I retrieve punches off of a broken clock?).

NOTE: If your phone also requires a delay before getting a dial tone for the clock to dial out you can do so by adding a hyphen (-) to the beginning of the phone number and this will tell the clock to delay dialing out for a few seconds.
