PrintReader - Semi and Fully Automatic Modes
The PrintReader is capable of both Fully and Semi Automatic print recognition.

Fully is when an employee simply walks up, presses CLOCK IN/OUT, putting their finger to the reader and having the clock automatically determine who the employee is by their finger print alone.

Semi which the clocks are now shipping as the default requires an employee to enter a PIN number, or swipe a card depending on the clock and if it matches an enrolled print will request that employee's print before accepting the punch.

The way that this can be set up is by changing a setting on the clock itself. From the Time and Date screen, Press the 3 key --> Type in the manager's password and press OK --> From this menu system you will press the number 8 (it does not show as an option). From here, you can set it to Fully or Semi Automatic.

Note: If set to Fully Automatic mode, it is possible for the reader to get confused if the same finger is enrolled with two or more different codes. The reader will sometimes detect it as the first, and sometimes as the second. You can get around this by using Semi Automatic mode, or to delete the duplicate unwanted enrollment.

Note: In Fully Automatic mode, a manager fingerprint to access the Print Managers menu cannot be used to clock in or out. If the manager needs to punch in/out at the clock, they will need to use a different finger, PIN or the clock can be set to use Semi Automatic mode.
