Return Merchandise Authorization

All time clocks come with a lifetime warranty. Replacing your time clock for a credit is a process that requires a series of mandatory steps. Failure to complete each of the steps will prevent the Reseller from receiving credit for the time clock; you must receive an RMA authorization code. (i.e. Sending a time clock back to SwipeClock without proper authorization will not result in a credit.)

The following are steps to receive Return Merchandise Authorization:

• To receive an RMA authorization code, submit a CRM e-mail request to support@swipeclock.com. Include the following in your e-mail request:
1. Client name
2. Clock problem
3. Serial number of bad clock
4. Shipping instructions (used also to determine the urgency of the replacement)
5. Contact name and phone number

• Once the problem is verified by our support team, an RMA authorization code will be provided. (A portion of the RMA code will contain the tracking number for your email.)

• Returning the time clock: All returned merchandise must be sent in an appropriate box with all components (power supply, clock, etc.)

1. Your RMA number must be clearly written and presented on the shipping box to receive credit for the hardware.

2. Data Extraction: If existing data must be extracted from the time clock, the Reseller must indicate the expected amount of records to be extracted and the client's next payroll processing date inside the box. The words "Data Extraction" must also be placed next to the RMA code on the OUTSIDE of the box.

• Billing Information: Time clock re-credits will be awarded once the time clock is received and processed by SwipeClock. The shipment of the replacement clock is billed as a purchased clock, for which the credit is re-posted once the return is processed. Note: A credit can not be posted unless all RMA steps are followed as described above.
