Below is a summary of the various types of logins and aspects of the system to which they have access.

Accountant Login – Login for Reseller staff and provides access to all data and account configuration settings for each timekeeping client. The features they have access to that lower level logins to not are:

◦Scripts
◦Pay Periods
◦Overtime rules
◦Miscellaneous Settings / Client Configuration
◦Accepting Pay Periods (TimeWorksPlus only)
◦Deleting employees
◦Creating Client level logins*

Client Login -- This login is normally reserved for a HR and administrative managers with the client. This level can view all employees and their time cards. In TimeWorksPlus, they can also view all time off requests. Additionally, they have access to the following features that lower level logins do not:

◦Create Supervisor level logins
◦Run Download Activity File for payroll export
◦Add Daily Auto Email subscriptions
◦Finalize Pay Periods (TimeWorks Plus only)
◦Freeze Pay Periods (TimeWorks only)
◦Adjust Accrual Balances (TimeWorksPlus only)
◦Edit clock prompts if permission is given through Miscellaneous Settings / Client Configuration
◦Create Custom Reports (TimeWorksPlus only) if permission is given through Client Configuration
◦View Biometrics Maintenance / Fingerprint Management

Supervisor Login – Login for supervisors for a respective client. This login level can be configured by a Client or Accountant level user. Access to reports is limited and logins can be filtered to only allow specific employee records to be viewed. An example of a user with this login level would be the Shift Supervisor. Permissions can be set which include:

◦Edit punches
◦Add/edit new employees
◦View wages and pay rates
◦Change pay rates on time card (if permission is given)
◦Edit/delete Unprocessed / Unmatched punches
◦View employees outside their assigned department through a clock prompt entry
◦Approve time cards (TimeWorksPlus only)

Employee Login - TimeWorks and TimeWorksPlus employees can be given access to view their time card. In addtion, TimeWorksPlus employees may be given access to these additional features through the Employee Self Service.

These are for TimeWorksPlus only

◦Approve time card
◦View accrual balances
◦Submit time off requests
◦Update personal information like phone or email
◦View department time off request calendar
◦Edit time card (if permission is given through ESS settings)
◦Reset their password
