TimeWorks Plus: HoursAlert
This rule was created to help management and supervisors manage the hours worked by employees.

To find this rule, go to Processing Rules > Uncategorized > HoursAlert, or in the Search box type in HoursAlert, hours, or alert.




To set up this rule, go to the rule, and choose your settings:

1. Type (this is what type of alert you want to show up on the time cards)
2. Overtime Eligibility (this is whether or not you want all hours, or just the overtime eligible hours)
3. Hours Before (this sets the amount of hours before the threshold that the alert shows on the time card)
4. Clock Prompts (this allows you to populate a clock prompt with this information so that you can run reports on this alert)




If you wanted to set up a clock prompt specifically for this alert, here is how to set it up:




The threshold is set per employee. When this rule is saved, a new employee setup field will show in the Employee Setup called Max Weekly Hours:




This alert can be viewed in both the individual time cards:
