The basic format for doing shifts in TimeWorksPlus is similar to TimeWorks (Scripting - Shift Differentials, Scripting - Shift Differential (Advanced)).
One thing that you will want to watch for though is that the splitting now happens in its own scripting rule, SplitScript, instead of with all the rest of the shift scripting, which would go in the PayRateScript. Also to splitting in a different processing rule, the way you access employee setup information is a little bit different. You will access the department, for example, by employee.department instead of just department.
Use of the Script Writer can help with basic shift differentials in TimeWorksPlus as well. This can be found in the Accountant Menu and then choose the Shift tab. |  |
