Clocks - GT400
The GT400 is a biometric time clock with a hand geometry reader; it also has Ethernet and bell ringer capabilities. The main benefits of hand biometrics vs. fingerprint biometrics is that hand biometrics will work more consistently in industries

An overview on the GT400 can be found online at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf8gwV-AXIw&feature=related . This video includes instructions on how to enroll new employees, as well as punching IN & OUT.

Installing the GT400 is not difficult to install, the installer will just need to mount the GT400 back-plate and then plug in Ethernet and power. (A quick note, it is designed to be installed with wiring coming through the wall from the back of the clock, like the Z18.) A video installation guide can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2g0haIGSB8&feature=relmfu .

The GT400 does not have an "Identify" mode; users must enter a PIN number before placing their hand, when punching IN/OUT. Only having “Verify” mode, will ultimately lead to reliable, consistent results that managers and business owners expect.

The GT400 runs on the same software as our other Ethernet based clocks.

The GT400 hand templates can be sync'd over multiple GT400's under the same Client like our other Biometric clocks.

The GT400 can ring a bell. (The bell relay kit should be installed, as it would with the Z-clocks.)

Also note that the GT400 will be covered by a one year limited warranty.
